San Diego State University alumnus Brandon Richards (‘03) has been an Aztec practically his whole life. Moving to San Diego at just two years old, and with his father also an Aztec, SDSU was woven into his upbringing from the start.

Graduating in 2003 with a degree in business administration and management, Richards credits the Fowler College of Business for teaching him how to take a little bit from everywhere: coursework, mentors, and experiences, to figure out his career path. His SDSU journey gave him the foundation he still relies on today as the current President of AleSmith Brewing Company.

Throughout his career, his love for San Diego and his connection to SDSU have remained at the center of his journey. Through AleSmith's partnership with SDSU Athletics, they serve as the Official Craft Beer Partner of Snapdragon Stadium. The collaboration is an opportunity to strengthen AleSmith's ties to the university and the San Diego community that have shaped both Richards’ personal and professional journey

For him, being an Aztec for Life means staying connected, investing in the community, and carrying forward the spirit that makes the SDSU network so special.
